In addition to maintaining a close relationship with all of our preschool parents, we also make sure that parents are in constant communication with our preschool program.  A Child's Place Preschool has a parents only website where parents can read about the monthly themes, letters of the week, site words we are learning, up coming class parties, school closures, and pictures of our recent events.  They also receive email notifications and reminders if your child is to bring something to school the following week (so your little one is never without a bear during bear week).  Parents are also able to email any questions they have anytime via the site. 

Bean Stalk Food Program

A Child's Place Preschool prides itself in providing the children with the best nutrition possible while presenting it in a "kid" friendly way. We Make sure that the children get all of their proper servings of fruit and vegetables their bodies need in a day.  In conjunction with this philosophy, we also participate in the Bean Stalk Food Program.  This program not only helps supplement the cost of healthy meals, they also make unannounced visits to our school three times a year to make sure the appropriate foods are being served and documented and that our program is staying in licensing ratio regulation. 

How Was My Day?

As a part of our parent teacher communication system, we also have a "How Was My Day" board for parents to go over with their child at pick up.  This helps parents and their child talk about the day the child had at preschool.  Whether it was a great day or a rough day, it is important that parents acknowledge both while still in the school setting.
